Desert Orchid. Won quite a bit of money off the back of its wins. A horse that never knew the meaning of giving up. A true warrior of a horse.

Kauto Star v Denman coming up the hill before the final turn 2009 & 2011 - THRILLING...I was in the Rack & Tenter for 2009, seemed like most of the pub was on Denman. I was always on Kauto.
Its that or Frankel for the 2011 2000G...simply amazing.

Arkle - He was that special that In Ireland they had to come up with a different handicapping system when he raced and it wasn't unusual for him to have to give two stone plus to his rivals.....still beat them.
In one Cheltenham Gold Cup only three horses opposed him......needless to say they didn't beat him.

Red Rum for me. Three National wins and two runners up in five years over those fences back in the 70's. Magic.
